She is an American-born Canadian actress. Grace Park (Jee Un Park) was born on March 14, 1974 in Los Angeles, California to American-Korean parents. Grace gained recognition as Sharon Valerii on Battlestar Galactica, as well as Shannon Ng in the Canadian television series teen soap Edgemont. She currently plays Detective Kona "Kono" Kalakaua in CBS' remake of Hawaii Five-0, which debuted September 20, 2010, on CBS.
Grace Park moved with her family to Canada when she was 22 months old. She was raised in the Vancouver neighbourhood of Kerrisdale. Grace Park holds a degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia. Grace Park started out as a model, loves extreme sports and traveling. She's 5' 9" (1.75 m).
